Sarah Fatkin


Sarah is a PhD student in the Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology (MCIP) program at UCLA. She received a BS in Neuroscience and a BA in European Languages from UCLA, where she studied the neurobiology of fruit fly sensory integration in the laboratory of Dr. Mark Frye. As a PhD student in the Pyle Lab, she studies the impact of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) on skeletal muscle and the neuromuscular junction using organoids.
